Going out with a bang 2009!

It's here! The end of another fabulous year in which I am incredibly grateful for all the wonderful clients who came into my life this year. Tonite is certain to be one of my most anticipated weddings ever---Kellie and Chris will be ringing in the new year as Newlyweds in high vintage style. I had the chance to not only shoot Kellie's phenominally beautiful bridal session---with 2 dresses, a 1940's Ford Coupe, and Liv Lethal on stand-by for hair and make up, but also to recreate a vintage movie poster to be displayed in a lighted movie Marque at their wedding which will take place at the newly renovated Henrico Theater with reception to follow at Main St. Train Station. Although I have been sick with a horrendous sinus infection and ear infection, I will arrive tonite with a smile on my face and camera in hand with all the very best of my life to surround me with inspiration. Not only do I have Lauren, my totally awesome second shooter who has found her home with Twilight Images, but also Liv Lethal, both of these ladies keep me on my toes, inspire me and complete the entire Twilight Images package, but I also have my amazingly supportive husband with me tonite to carry bags and dump cards through out the evening.

Tonite marks wedding number 2 in a spurt of 5 weddings in a matter of a week and a half. Tomorrow I will be on my way to Virginia Beach to photograph Cat's gorgeous wedding, and then Saturday, on my way to Staunton, VA to shoot Jordan's big event. I hope that this weekend brings me lots of amazing photos----what am I talking about! I KNOW these weddings will be amazing!!!

In addition to all of this, I gave my notice to my land lord at my current studio. It was bittersweet as that studio helped me to create the business I have today. However, with that in mind, I am giddy with anticipation to be in the new studio as soon as possible!

We also have the bridal show coming up next Sunday at the Richmond Convention Center. I have taken the last few months to really plan out my booth for this run and I hope that it's as gorgeous as I see it in my head. If you are looking for tickets to the show, or know a bride who may need a pass, please do not hesitate to email me and I can mail you a couple of free passes!

I do want to thank all of my clients for their patience, support, and unending love of my work. I have had some eye openers this year which have given new light to the realm of wedding photography for me because of you. Thank you for all your kind words and inviting me to be part of your special moments.
